ABSolute Fitness Welcomes Jessica Fix

 

Jessica started to change her lifestyle after graduating college in December 2009.  She has always been an athlete and played soccer in college.  After getting caught up in the college life, and making unhealthy choices in diet and choosing a sedentary lifestyle, she began gaining weight.  She started to make a turnaround in January 2010 and made healthy lifestyle changes.  She began choosing healthy foods and began a regular exercise regimen.  Her body has already begun a transformation.

Jessica has played soccer since the age of 8 and has spent many years playing in the Norwin Soccer Club and the Penns Forest Football Club.  She attended Norwin High School, played soccer her freshman through senior years, graduating in 2005.  Jess then went on to attend The University of Akron and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education.  She played soccer all four years of college and served as team captain. 

Her dedication and strong work ethic has earned her many awards.  She earned All-American honors in high school, was named Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Soccer Player of the year in 2004, the YWCA sports teen of the year (2004), and was selected to the All-Ohio Team for the Mid-American Conference. 

Jessica is greatly looking forward to working with and enhancing the youth of our community.  She intends to help them to achieve their fitness and soccer goals, as she has worked so hard and achieved her own!
